Lakeside Raceway is Queensland’s iconic lakeside motor racing circuit, located on the outskirts of Brisbane. This detailed recreation for rFactor 2 captures the layout, character, and atmosphere of one of Australia’s most loved racing venues — built from an official surveyor’s map of the circuit, accurate to within 0.5 metres.

About This Track
Lakeside International Raceway is located in Kurwongbah, north of Brisbane. The circuit was first opened in 1961 and has hosted Australian Touring Car Championship rounds and many memorable motorsport events over the decades. This recreation captures the track in its modern configuration, with historic variants planned for release.
Version History
Lakeside Raceway 0.90 — Added “Racers” logo to bridge and signs. Lakeside will be updated to 2025 spec.
Lakeside Raceway (Park) V0.89 — Removed Queensland Raceway logo. Lakeside Park is no longer part of Queensland Raceway Pty Ltd.
Lakeside International Raceway V0.75 — New Lakeside Room, new bridge, ambient occlusion maps, redone driver training, new entrance, 1,000+ new trees, new outer terrain, new grass textures with Google Earth data.
Lakeside International Raceway V0.42 — Added Dunlop Bridge, new pit cafe, cooler room, drink machine. Track now stand-alone as Lakeside International Raceway.
