Description
Oran Park Raceway no longer exists in the real world — it was demolished in 2010 to make way for housing development. This rFactor 2 recreation preserves the circuit as it was, built from the original LIDAR data collected before demolition, with hundreds of additional reference photographs taken in the months before the bulldozers arrived.

About This Track
Oran Park Raceway opened in 1962 and operated for nearly 50 years on Sydney’s south-western fringe. It hosted Australian Touring Car Championship rounds, motorcycle Grand Prix, and the Bob Jane T-Marts 1000. The circuit was closed in 2010 and the land sold for residential development. Today, suburban housing covers the former track site — meaning this sim recreation is the only way to drive Oran Park as it was. A piece of Australian motorsport history preserved digitally.
About This Recreation
This version of Oran Park is developed under exclusive permission granted by the creators of the original Oran Park LiDAR project for rFactor 2 and other sim racing titles.
