Description
Mount Panorama Bathurst as it appeared in 1985 — period-correct signage, atmosphere, and the iconic circuit layout that has defined Australian motorsport for generations. This recreation for rFactor 2 captures one of the most memorable seasons in the track’s history.
A Personal Note
This recreation is dedicated to the memory of my late wife, Sayuri Kobayashi – Cantwell. A memorial to her — alongside a pink cherry blossom orchard — has been built into the track. If you find it while driving, take a moment.

About This Track
Mount Panorama at Bathurst is Australia’s most famous motor racing circuit. The 6.2km road course climbs 174 metres from the start-finish line to the top of the mountain through some of the most demanding corners in world motorsport. The 1985 James Hardie 1000 saw an extraordinary mix of cars — Group A Turbo Nissans, Holden Commodores, and Ford Falcons — battling for the prestigious crown.
